Copenhagen, Denmark, Monday, 27 August to Friday, 31 August 2007.

CMMR is an annual event focusing on important aspects of computer music. CMMR 2007 is the fourth event in this series and will this year be held jointly with the ICMC2007.

The field of computer music is interdisciplinary by nature and closely related to a number of computer science and engineering areas such as information retrieval, programming, human computer interaction, digital libraries, hypermedia, artificial intelligence, acoustics, signal processing, etc. In this year's CMMR we would like to emphasize on the Sense of Sounds from the synthesis and retrieval point of view. This theme is pluridisciplinary by nature and associates the fields of sound modeling by analysis, synthesis, perception and cognition. In spite of a growing activity and interest by the international research community for this particular theme, CMMR2007 will be the first international gathering devoted to this specific topic.

CMMR 2007 "Sense of Sounds" invites researchers, educators, composers, performers, and others with an interest in important aspects of computer music (including modeling, retrieval, analysis, and synthesis) to come join us for a unique event.
