Sandrine Rakotonarivo

Maître de Conférences, AMU

Sandrine Rakotonarivo is Assistant Professor at Aix-Marseille University and the Laboratory of Mechanics and Acoustics of Marseille. Her research interests deal with ultrasound and acoustic imaging of complex structures (reverberant or scattering media, anisotropic structures) for underwater acoustics, non destructive and structural health monitoring applications.

Current research projects

- Active and passive localization of defects in elastic structures in presence of fluid flow (LMA/CEA Cadarache Collaboration, MISTRAL Laboratory).
- Characterization of complex elastic structures based on 3D innovative holographic acoustic methods (Amidex International 3D-InHoAc project, collaboration with Marine Physical Laboratory (San Diego, USA) et Dr. Williams from Naval Research Lab. (Washington DC, USA)).
- Crack localization in multiple scattering media (=concrete) based on passive and active methods (Collaboration LMA, I2M, LMDC)
